My students are struggling readers who are all performing at different reading levels, so I want to help provide all of them with plenty of reading material that will keep them interested and motivated. It can be very challenging to find high quality books for the earliest readers, so this library will go a long way in providing my students with the kinds of materials they need. With a library like this one, my students will be able to read with greater independence and a heightened sense of purpose. The leveled library allows me to monitor what my students are reading so that it is at an appropriate level for their specific needs. The products I would like to purchase are Lakeshore Leveled Readers Fiction Set 1, Lakeshore Leveled Readers Non Fiction Set, a Lakeshore Leveled Check Out Chart and a Lakeshore Leveled Library Mobile Cart. I would like to have these funds by the beginning of August so that I can teach my students how to use these materials from the start of the school year! Not only am I appreciative for any donations that will be made, but you will be helping my students to become more confident readers and learn to love reading again.
