My students will be using most of these materials in literacy centers daily. The play dough stampers and sorting games will be utilized to create, build, and recognize sight words as the students learn the basics of reading. Both the beanbag chairs will be used for flexible seating for students to use in the library. The dough mats will also be used by students to practice letter formation. I will be using the organizer to collect student work in a way that is neat and out of the way. The floor puzzles will be used by students to help foster teamwork and collaboration in the classroom. By donating to my project you will help my students learn in a hands-on way, that will increase their exposure to reading and writing. These materials will not only allow my students practice their skills, but also keep them engaged and eager to participate. They will also help the English language learners in my classroom to learn in a unique way, and allow all of my students to continue to have a love of learning.
