My kids love building and creating! What kid doesn't? These materials will not only help them academically, but socially also! "Life may have it's failures, but this was not it. The only true failure can come if you quit." STEM provides incredible opportunities for collaboration, problem solving, and critical thinking! Students must practice social skills, and be given as many opportunities as possible to exhibit creative thinking. All of these materials that are listed below will be used, every morning, during Morning Tub Time. Morning Tub Time is the first 10 minutes of the morning, where they get to play with whatever materials I have placed in their table's bin for that morning, however they would like. It gives them a chance to unwind and prepare for learning! They will ALL be used for various STEM activities and challenges throughout the school year. Most importantly, all of these items will be used DAILY, whether it is during morning tubs, STEM, math centers, or science centers. These materials with allow them to think outside of the box and use their creativity to reach solutions for challenging tasks. I don't believe in just sitting at your desk with a paper and pencil.
