I am a third grade teacher who enjoys my students working in groups. Working together enhances my students' social and communication skills. I focus on making learning fun and exciting for my students with hands-on activities. My students leave my classroom having a positive outlook on themselves and a growth mindset. When my students enter my classroom, majority of them are reading below grade level (some two levels behind!). Some students do not receive support at home and wish they could stay longer in the classroom. They learn to be confident in themselves and learn the importance of attempting difficult tasks. I love knowing I have impacted their lives as they impacted mine.
