The lessons and activities that take place on the carpet are an essential component to my third graders' learning experience. Carpet activities help build a strong and caring classroom community. Students collaborate with each on the carpet other during small group instruction and activities. They don't have to sit on a cold dirty floor. This carpet has inspirational messages that the students will read several times daily without really thinking about it. These messages will create a positive learning environment for the students and emphasize what I already know, "They can achieve anything!" This carpet will be fully utilized every day within my classroom to maximize learning!
