My students are energetic and excited to learn! Our school is located in an urban area and many of my students come from low-income households. For many, school is a safe haven from their high-poverty, high-stress lives outside of school. Students enjoy their time in the caring environment they find in school. My students are passionate, compassionate, and excited to be leaders in our school environment. They are supportive of one another, especially as they encounter success. Many of my students have had no prior schooling and are in need of opportunities to learn expected behaviors as well as experience the world outside of their houses.
