These materials will make a difference in my classroom by giving my students an opportunity to learn in a variety of ways. They will be able to complete experiments in science and physically see and touch multiple science tools including scales and yardsticks that they do not see in their everyday lives. These books will support learning by reinforcing content in a fun, interactive way. Currently my students do not have a playground big enough for the entire grade level to play on, so some days we are playing on a blacktop without any sports equipment, such as the requested basketball and jump ropes, to help them interact with one another.
