First, having access to these magazines for my class will help engage them in reading while learning about the world around them. The kids can really connect with the content in each magazine. It makes today's topic easy for 2nd graders to understand. Also, my kids will each get a magazine of their own. A lot of kids this age have no idea what a real magazine even is. I hope this will help them better understand reading doesn't just come from a book but also from a "fun" resource.

About my class
