Our students need school supplies in order to learn! These supplies will be set aside for new students so that they can have what they need right when they arrive at school! Oftentimes, school supplies are a barrier for new students. They may not be able to afford supplies or they may not have the transportation to go and get them. Sometimes students have to leave their old supplies at their previous school and they are disappointed when they arrive to our school empty handed. The glue sticks, highlighters, trapper keepers, zipper binders, beginner pencils, sharpened pencils, mead notebooks, composition books, earbuds, lined index cards, and crayons will all be given to students to use in their classrooms. The cookies, goldfish, and mixed fruit snacks will be used as a first day of school snack! Snacks are usually the last thing that families think of when they come enroll their students. A good snack provides great comfort on a nerve wrecking day! The name tags will be given to students to wear on their first day.
