Having a classroom rug will help create a better classroom community. Students will be able to have their own personal bubble space (square) on the carpet, which will help keep my fidgety kinders in one spot. This classroom rug will be the focal point of our meeting area tying the classroom together as a community. We will share books, do our morning meetings, sing songs, and do whole group and mini lessons on our classroom rug daily. As a teacher, you spend a lot of your own money on classroom supplies and creating an appealing learning environment for your students. I love being able to get such items to enrich my students' educations, but this is an expense that I will need help with. Please help me provide a community building learning space for my lovely kindergarten students!
