I have a wonderful classroom of bilingual students. The majority of my students are English Language Learners. A few have already transitioned to complete English instruction. However, most are in need of support to be able to perform nearly comparable to a non-ELL. Although they might struggle, they try their best on a daily basis. Those in most need even come to school on Saturdays. I can say that my students care for their education and strive to be the best. Their low economic status also gets in they way of their education, but it does not stop them from working hard to achieve their goals. I see growth in them everyday and it gives them so much motivation to continue learning.
