I am requesting five Ipads with covers for my second grade classroom. Currently, our district has a need for technology. My students get so excited when they are able to go to the computer lab twice a week for thirty minutes. I would love to have the availabilty of these IPADS right in our room. My students could download e-readers to continue and enhance their love of reading. They could work in small groups to research topics they love learning about. Also, phonics and math games could be played to review and reteach skills needing reinforcement. I feel like in today's classroom, technology should be easily available to our students. Our district is in a small rural community where all of the students receive free lunches due to economic strains. They deserve what most classroom already have! Thank you so much for considering this project.
