By using our new egg shakers and xylobells in our music and movement-rich kindergarten class, students will regularly explore sound and rhythm with simple and fun percussion instruments. Egg shakers are easy to hold, fun to shake, and let the children be natural music makers! As we learn and practice our rhythmic tunes, our xylobells will reverberate in the room! Miss K will use the xylobells to facilitate tonal exploration and to enhance music-making in the classroom. With a small set of xylobells, students will have the opportunity to practice making tonal melodies individually or in small groups. Using music and movement in the classroom is not only fun, but it enhances academic learning and helps students self-regulate.
