A new computer will be a great resource for the classroom students. There is a computer in the classroom that is dedicated to the Smart Board and cannot be used by the students without interrupting the lesson. While working on a non-technology assignment recently, students wanted to research Bora Bora in relation to a short story we had just read, "Ghost of the Lagoon" a computer would make that information readily available. Since we do not have dedicated computers in the classroom, it would be helpful to have a classroom computer for student research.A new computer has other benefits, such as online grading. Also, it's evident that a large whiteboard in the room would invite more participation in the lesson. Students could propose written answers at the front of the classroom. Classroom whiteboard will benefit Saturday tutoring students as well.
