With these materials, my students will not be pigeonholed into traditional desk and chair seating. They will have options to help them focus and become their best selves. With flexible seating, my students will be able to choose what works best for them. They may work on a ball seat or a stool. They will have choices that meet their specific needs. The other supplies will allow our learning to meet the needs of all our students at their level. Today's learners need alternate learning styles; traditional paper, pencils, and books are not reaching our students. I want to give my little learners additional resources to meet their learning styles. They need hands-on materials and resources that are pleasing to the eye. I need to be able to grab their attention and hold on to it. By creating a classroom with alternate seating options, STEAM projects, and colorful classroom decor, my students will be able to soar.
