My students need a comfy and inviting area with bookshelves and a nice rug to enjoy listening to stories and reading on their own. I'm requesting three Beginnings 3-Shelf Bookcases for a comfy and inviting reading area. I want to develop a love for reading within my students so they become life long readers and this is a big step in the right direction. Many of my students do not have a role model at home that reads with them every night and I would like to provide them an opportunity to hear and read stories daily. Having this opportunity will also build reading fluency and comprehension which is a major goal in our classroom.
