It is well documented that students learn best when their learning comes from themselves and their peers through exploration and questioning. Using these cameras, these young students will be able to record their work and the world around them to share in class. From reading to math, students will be able to watch, learn, and grow from each other. During reading, these cameras will be used to let struggling students take pictures of students they think are emulating good reading habits. During writing students can add their own photos to narrative stories about their lives or add pictures to support a persuasive argument. While learning about shapes and colors, students will use the cameras to go on scavenger hunts to find items and then be able to report back to the class. The possibilities are endless when students are sharing with and learning from each other!
