My students are very enthusiastic learners and are ready, willing and able to absorb whatever is given to them. My requested project would give these scholars a hands-on approach that would better enhance their retention of mathematical concepts and retell of the stories we read. Kindergarten is where the magic begins, my goal is to give them the tools they need to help them soar. Our classroom is lacking SMART Board technology, so this document camera would be a nice way to integrate visual and interactive learning. Please help us! The requested document camera will allow students to see exactly what is going on while using math manipulatives or reading materials My school integrates a personalized approach to learning. This allows students to learn through games and manipulative-based activities. Giving directions to my students is difficult due to holding the materials in a way that they can see them. It often becomes a handful and results in confusion. This slows down the individualized work time my students need. A document camera would simplify the learning process for all of my students. By using a document camera, students will be able to see items that I️ want them to focus on specifically. My learners are very visual and this will help them learn in a way that is more conducive to their learning style. In the end, my scholars will be able to show their working and thinking, thus building their critical thinking skills.
