Through encouragement from my administration, I have decided to implement a book club next year to encourage reading excellence. Statistics show that the more the students read the more their comprehensive can improve. All we need is access to more books! This is something I'm passionate about because reading helps build literacy skills. By having the students participate in a book club, I'm opening the students up to the world. I would like to start with a group of 10 students and hopefully grow as time goes on. We would meet after school to discuss the book we have been reading. Help a child read by helping my class.
