The ability to thumb through and choose from age appropriate and interesting hook books is essential for struggling or reluctant readers to develop their interest! Our school has a wonderful reading curriculum used within the general education classroom, with a wide variety of early reader titles, however a special education classrooms such as ours is in continual need for additional alternative titles and book series to help fuel their fire for reading. When our students that typically struggle with reading eventually find ‘that’ book, and really get hooked on reading, the possibilities are endless! By donating to our project, you will greatly assist our classroom in being able to provide high interest reading materials to help hook our struggling students and develop their habit of reading!
