Having the ability to listen to stories will improve the school life of my students by building their reading skills and encouraging a love of reading. I am in need of a tablets so I can allow my students to access apps where they can listen to and read stories. Listening to stories will help my students see how the words on the page can come alive. They will be able to build their sight vocabulary as well as learn more about how letters and sounds come together to make words and stories. These donations will help improve my classroom by allowing my students to access books in a way that is meaningful and engaging.
