With this project I would like to purchase book sets for the entire class. These books will give the students the ability to learn how to study a novel. By purchasing a book for every student in the class, the students can take the book home if they need to learn from home. This 5th grades class first year of COVID was 3rd grade, most students are just starting to learn how to read and analyze chapter books at that age and a lot of my students were not given that opportunity. I would like my students to have the opportunity to dive deep into some new books that they might not necessarily pick up on their own. I have chose a variety of books, some that teach lessons from different times in history and others that teach students about friendship and differences. I want these books to make a difference in my students lives.
