Walk into any classroom on any given day, and you can see children with a multitude of learning styles. The idea of flexible seating is perfect for students unable to remain seated in a traditional chair. School seating should not be a "one size fits all" mentality. This project will enable students to select a variety of comfortable seating options while completing classwork. The bouncy bands, yoga balls, wobble chairs, and yoga mats will create a more relaxed learning environment. Optional seating allows for movements such as fidgeting, tapping, and rocking. Present classroom seats limit students' ability to release energy necessary for focus. This project will not only aid students today, but future ones, as well!
