By helping me purchase supplies like hi-lighters, glue sticks, pencils, cases, and paper for my classroom, you will be helping my children by taking the pressure off of having to bring supplies that they cannot afford. A little goes a long way. It will no longer be a hassle to supply students with the needed materials to complete essays, quizzes, tests, or daily assignments. When they're asked to do a writing assignment, the embarrassment of having to ask for something to use or borrow to write with will be eliminated. When asked to get hi-lighters out for closing reading tasks or essay editing tasks, students will no longer feel guilt as they ask to borrow their neighbors hi-lighters because they don't have any of their own.
