My students haven't learned to love reading yet. As a result, it's pretty much a guarantee that if they don't read in my class, they won't read at all. I'm trying to read more high-interest novels with them that I know will affirm their life experiences. Unfortunately, these novels are not usually the ones available as class sets. Also, unfortunately, I've yet to find seeds that will grow a money tree, so I'm swallowing my sizable pride and asking for help. My goal is to instill a love of reading in my students, and these requested copies of The Absolutely True Diary will go a long way towards accomplishing that wall. I know they will love it!
