Recent educational research has shown that flexible seating choices in the classroom provides students a sense of ownership in the school environment and increases levels of engagement. Choice, movement, collaboration, comfort, and community are major benefits of providing flexible seating options. The Cozzzi Mattress will allow my students to choose a comfortable setting where they can communicate and collaborate with each other. In turn, students are encouraged to share a space and share ideas. Additionally, comfortable and inviting areas in the classroom enhance focus and productivity. Flexible seating has a significant impact the classroom culture, and is the perfect addition to deepen that impact.
