These blowdryers will be used in my exploratory program with students who visit my cosmetology shop every week. Each week I see up to 14 different students who are "trying out" cosmetology to be able to make a more informed decision for their future. They will be better equipped to make a decision if my shop is a good fit for them if they are able to experience blowdrying techniques needed to be a successful hairdresser. They need to be durable dryers as they will be used by over a hundred students this year. Blow-drying is the cornerstone of hairdressing techniques. It is required on the state board exam and given as a service to almost every single client. Without this training, students are not as prepared to decide if my shop can give them a successful future.
