My 4th grade students are amazing! They are diverse learners (academically, ethnically and economically) who live in a caring and supportive community. They work hard and learn how to collaborate by sharing thoughts, ideas and feedback on each other's work. Many of my students have learning needs that require various interventions - both academic and social. A large number of my school's student population receive ESL services. Despite many challenges, my students work hard and thrive in a respectful learning community. My students know that I always expect them to try their best and will support their ever changing needs the best I can! I will always encourage my students to set personal goals and strive to succeed. Even a small success is celebrated in my classroom!
