My first graders come to school each and every day ready to learn. That being said, it is very important (and sometimes challenging) to keep my 6 and 7 year old kiddos activity engaged in learning. I would love to be able to give my students every resource in the world in order to make learning tremendously FUN for them; however, being a first year teacher, I am still trying to build my classroom resources. In order to help my students be actively engaged in learning and to foster their LOVE of learning, there are some items that would help tremendously!
