Every year I give a basic list of supplies to parents, but not all parents contribute or they contribute as best as they can due to financial circumstances. Every school year my students are out sick for various illnesses due to lack of sanitation supplies and a clean environment. It is my job as an adult to model healthy living and environment. Our custodial staff only is required to empty our garbage cans and sweep our floors, but often times we are lucky to have our garbage emptied each night. The district I work for will only provide bar soap for students. As we know students drop soap on the floor and play with it, defeating the purpose of having a clean bar of soap available to students. I would like to start the school year off with sanitation and cleaning supplies to help keep our learning environment clean and neat. I am asking for basic cleaning supplies such as Lysol/ Clorox wipes, broom and dust pan, Kleenex tissues, composition books, chalk crayons, papers and hands sanitizer and wipes and lastly Pump Dial Soap. Your contributions will help us start the school year off with plenty of supplies to keep the scholars healthy. Attendance in school is priority for student learning!!!
