Having extra computers in our classroom technology center will give my students a tremendous advantage in being able to access computer-based programs that I along with the school district has purchased in order to enhance the students' success on end of year state test. The computers will motivate the students to practice Common Core math and reading standards. They will have more availability to research-based programs that are designed to reach students where they are. Students will be more engaged if they are able to access materials that they are able to succeed with. When students are successful they tend to want to continue practicing, which can only assist them in mastering those grade-level skills they will need in order to be promoted.
