Our children, ages 0-5, will experience hands-on planting and growing vegetables, taking care of a garden, and reaping the benefits. Children from our community often lack the ability to use their hands for digging and experiencing the benefits of their efforts. This will be able to let our children offer their knowledge and hard work to assisting their families as well as their brains. We will be planting the seeds with the materials we are requesting, teaching self-sufficiency and science. We will have the children use the digging equipment and watering cans to plant and grow the items on their own. We need your help to educate the babies, toddlers, and preschoolers of this community to help grow their futures. By helping these children and families learn to sustain a food source, we are helping these families to eat healthy and affordable meals.
