The items on this list will help engagement in the classroom. Since I will be teaching English Language Learners next year, these students will need as much engagement as possible, in order for them to get the most interactive exposure to the new language. Also on the list are teacher materials that will help me stay organized and prepared for the students. Some examples of how the materials will be implemented in the classroom, include the following. The notebooks will help my students keeping track of the reading, writing, and spelling/phonics learning through the year and keep all our learning in one spot. The listening and speaking microphone, will help my students record their reading and listen to themselves to build upon their speaking skills. The pocket charts will help us create sentences and stretch them out, analyze their writing and the writing of other authors, etc. There are several reasons I ask for your support, and I would be unbelievably grateful for anything you are able to provide.
