I am currently finishing up my first year as a teacher, and it has been quite the experience. This year, I have been working as the Content Mastery Lab teacher. I worked with every one of the 600+ students that attend my school this year, providing ELA and Math remediation through technology enrichment. Next year, I will be moving to a grade level classroom (Kindergarten) and I could not be more excited. However, having taught grades K-5 in the computer lab this year, I have not been able to acquire anything for a specific grade level classroom. My goal is to go into the school year with a colorful, fun, and exciting classroom, that includes flexible seating for my new group of kiddos. I am asking for an Alpha Fun Train Rug, three Kore WOBBLE Chairs, a pack of Plastic Stack Stools and two Gaiam Balance Balls. By getting these flexible seating options for my classroom, my students will have the opportunity to begin their educational experience in a comfortable, wiggle friendly, environment. Contributing to my project will not only assist me as a new teacher, but will also benefit my future students for many years to come.
