I have the honor of teaching in a Title I school where each of the students receive both breakfast and lunch every day. Most of my students want to learn and are eager to try anything they have the opportunity to. Unfortunately they often don't have the finances to support their learning. I have made a point to not allow the financial struggles to get in the way of their opportunity to become anything they want to be. I want to facilitate their hunger to experience and learn everything they can. Our classroom is an escape from anything that may be happening outside the school walls and into supportive goal oriented learning.
