Our community was once a thriving logging community. Over the years the mills have closed and been dismantled, leaving most of the population looking for work. Our school population went from about 230 to 85 in just a few years. Our students are tied closely to the outdoors and our natural resources. Our students are craving an education not just in the classroom but outside the school walls where they can experience what is discussed in the classrooms. We have a great student body but some kids struggle with sitting in a desk and learning out of a book. Our goal is to take what we do in the classroom and make it relevant for all of our students.

About my class
