Our students require intensive hands on field experiences. These laboratory exercises are quintessential to the development of a strong science mind. Our water testing lab will help us make inferences about nearby water sources, many of which are used for recreational purpose by the students in my class. The soil testing kit will also allow us to investigate the current soil situation in areas that have potential for garden spaces that can future support our community. The potential and long lasting experiences that come with this project are endless. With these testing kits our students will gain knowledge of their surroundings that will help them make better environmental decisions. It is their community and they have the right to contribute to it in the best ways capable.
