The Lego Mindstorms kits will become a part of our fourth and fifth grade STEM investigations. The students will design, build, and write code for their robots. The students, through the use of the kits, will practice following directions, teamwork, critical thinking, and trial and error. These are all important life long skills every student needs. By having the kits in our classroom, small groups of students will be able to work with the technology at their own pace so they can have time to work through problems as they arise, be creative in their design, and collaborate with fellow students on what they want to accomplish.

About my class
