It has been said that PLAY is the work of children. Dramatic play provides multiple opportunities for kindergarteners to explore and improve their abilities to communicate, solve problems, think creatively, and work cooperatively with others. Dramatic play also provides learning opportunities in self-regulation, respect, responsibility, coordination, mathematics, and literacy. The dollhouse-sized school, fire station, and first responder station along with the ethnically diverse people will be the ideal addition to our kindergarten classroom. All of my little cuties will learn to become productive citizens in our own community through dramatic play.
