The most of the students in this 5th grade classroom are disadvantaged and come from low-income families. We are a Title One school with 70% of our students having Free/Reduced breakfast and lunch. My students are very active and need different choices in their learning environment. They need choices in seating as they are fidgety and tend to move a lot. Students also needs choices in learning. My classroom doesn't have much to offer in regards to technology and in todays fast paced world, this is what students need.

About my class
