I am asking for donations to purchase a kidney table for my classroom. Furniture like this is not provided because my school is a charter school and already operates with a limited budget. I have already purchased a lot of materials for my classroom, including all of the flexible seating materials we currently have. I have considered purchasing the table on my own, but with shipping the table price becomes out of my budget for what I can personally afford. However, I know my students can really benefit from this table not only during small group instruction time, but during our flexible seating time as well. A kidney table will create another space in my classroom for my learners to utilize, and another area for me to teach my small groups while differentiating my lessons. This space will help when I teach my workshops, work with small groups or individuals, further support my students' learning, and also give them a private space to work if they need it.
