Right now, going to school for many children can be stressful enough without having to potentially deal with a decrease in memory ability, lack of energy, and loss of focus due to too hot and humid conditions in the classroom. EVERY child deserves the opportunity to learn in a comfortable, nurturing, and positive environment where they can take risks, ask questions, make mistakes, learn, and grow. That is why we need a GE - 550 Sq. Ft. Portable Air Conditioner. I can absolutely provide a nurturing and positive environment for my students, but the heat and humidity of a second floor classroom are currently beyond my control.
