My students struggle with reading, writing and math. With the requested iPads, they will have opportunities to learn by using apps that will challenge them at their levels of learning. Apps that encourage students to improve their phonemic awareness, reading comprehension, fluency and self-expression through writing will be invaluable to my students academic success. My students need encouragement and motivation to stay focused on tasks. Their disabilities prevent them from concentrating for more than a few minutes at a time. The iPads and the visuals that apps provide will keep students interested and, as a result, they will enjoy the learning process.
