Currently, games at our school have poor attendance. This brings down the morale of the players as they yearn to have their peer and community support. Part of the reason that attendance is so low is because anyone can stand up against the fence to watch. The 13 wind screens would built protection for the field itself as well as encourage others to pay admission to watch their loved ones and friends put their heart and soul into the games. The windscreens would also increase the safety and protection of the players and coaches. The field itself backs up to large busy city street. Anyone can walk up to the fences, which at times can encourage violence and distraction to both fans and players. With the addition of the windscreens, locals would be unable to simply stand agains the fence and engage with the students and staff on the other side. It would create an overall sense of safety that is much needed at this site. Along with this the increased attendance would boost the overall spirit of the players as well as overall school spirit. These students need a safe place to go and these windscreens would help create just that.
