Using these different materials, I can further support the musical concepts being taught in my class. The students can learn theory and ideas throughout the semester but without a way to use these skills, they have no grounding in the concepts. By creating posters and making music with their boomwhackers, I will have a way to allow the students to create music. Many of the students are shy and come in with the impression that they are not capable of producing music but this will allow me to show these students that have incredible musical potential. With these materials, I can music music learning fun while instilling passion and confidence in all of my students.
