These resources promote the 7th and 8th grade Nevada Academic Content Standards for social studies. Specifically the standards for world geography and global studies. My students will benefit from having a globe as a visual to explore the geography of the world. During COVID-19 distance learning my students missed having hands on collaborative learning tools because they were at home for 18 months. Now that we are together at school I need to provide them with as many opportunities to collaborate and have access to high quality hands on materials.
