This year, I will teach English Langauge Arts and Social Studies! My goal is to get every child reading on grade level and above! Of course, there will be challenges along the way, but I would like to expose my kiddos to reading in various ways. We need a subscription to Storyworks Junior for print rich text to help build the foundation for their reading skills! This magazine offers one way, another would be clips from newspapers or articles. I want students to know that reading can be fun! At the end of the year, we do have state testing for Reading and Math. I know that my kids will become awesome readers and have a passion for it! Thanks!
