My scholars use technology often in the classroom, but they do not always have access to technology at home to complete their work or projects. As a magnet school, a color printer will help support creativity and innovation in my classroom. When working in Google Docs I have observed my scholars love to use color, but when it is printed it is always in black and white. The Epson printer will allow my scholars to add colorful touches to their work and projects when they are at school. Additionally, I believe my scholars will put forth more effort and care into their presentations, and develop a sense of pride and confidence in their finished products.
