We are planning our senior decision day here at WHS. This event has been for all college bound, military, and career ready students to celebrate their success and choices with the whole school and community. This day significantly impacts each senior's family and the community as a whole by promoting the importance that comes along with deciding to further their education. We celebrate their success among the community, including the underclassmen, to emphasize that it does not matter what your background is, each one of our students can move on to higher education. As part of deciding to further education, there are other costs outside of tuition that could be relieved with this donation. One of the barriers outside of tuition is being able to afford the technology required to do schoolwork. This is why we would like to raffle off Chromebooks to students choosing higher education. This will give them an even playing field among other kids who may not have the same struggles and they will be able to succeed.
