Students will have the ability to choose to kneel on a cushion, sit on the floor and comfortably write, or choose to sit at a chair / ball which will give them a little bounce... Flexible Seating has several benefits. * conducive to open collaboration, communication and creativity * allows greater student control. less teacher control * allows movement *provides a sense of community by sharing space and supplies * sensory input stimulates student's sense of touch, which can help children focus and process information Through this project, students will be able to self-select an option that works best for them. Some students prefer to stand, sit on the floor, sit on something that has a little bounce / texture.
